We want our guests to associate Eilert Smith Hotel with comfort, design, and good experiences. Each of our 12 rooms have their own unique design with high comfort and classic design.

Our Guest Relations team has the overall responsibility for the guest’s experience – before, during and after the stay. Ensuring our guest’s expectations are always exceeded and that we build on the great reputation of the hotel.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Host to join our Guest Relations team at Eilert Smith Hotel.

We are looking for someone passionate and excited about great guest service and with superb organisational skills. You will be the hotel’s external face and must exercise the hotel’s values through behaviour; Warm, Respect and Excellence.

You should have some previous experience, in a similar environment.

Successful candidates will be:

· Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

· Able to demonstrate excellent personal presentation and communication skills.

· Passionate about delivering exceptional levels of guest service.

Responsibilities will include:

· Welcome (check in) all arriving guests to the required minimum standard.

· Bid farewell (check out) all departing guests to the required minimum standard.

· Handle all telephone calls, including external.

· Record and report maintenance and security issues, raised by guests or employees and follow up where appropriate.

· Conduct general administrative duties using Microsoft office, the hotel property management system etc.
